We met again at Holy Mass

Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Francis Parish, Fall is here.
The trees are really starting to shine. Great (American) football time. Not so great for baseball. I’m so glad Houston is out.
This weekend was pretty busy. On Saturday we had three baptisms and a sweet 15. Deacon Octavio did the honors for the S 15. Sunday began classes for First Holy Communion, in two classes, alternating Sundays. Gotta keep the numbers low and the distance at 6 feet. No small feat.
I got my official ballot in the mail on Saturday. I will open it tomorrow, fill it out and bring it to where I have to bring it. As an American I really believe in voting.
The insane attempt by 14 terrorists to kidnap Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer is not the way we do things. We vote, and as a 72 y o American, I am very upset by this planned act of domestic terrorism. I thank God the FBI, Homeland Security and other law enforcement agencies stopped this planned kidnapping before it happened.
Mass attendance this weekend was 40 at the 4, 40 at the 9 and 67 at the 11. As of now there is sufficient spacing among everyone. As I have said, it is so nice to see people at mass and have singing at the 9. “Normal” seems so long ago.
I must have injured my right foot somehow. Gotta get it checked out. Don’t like limping around.
We are looking for parishioners to go to Norwich this coming Friday for a ten o’clock rosary in front of the Planned Parenthood. This is part of the 40 Days of life Program. Pro life is not just pro birth. From the womb to the tomb. The whole nine yards.
I am watching the Buccaneers, i.e. Tom Brady, destroy the Packers. Yes, Brady is the GOAT.
Enjoy the pictures. I love dogs.
