Making history! Thank you very much for your donations

Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Francis Parish, This morning I had a root canal and it went very smoothly. I took a good nap this afternoon and am going to bed early.
Yesterday I had a busy morning and finished about 12;50 pm. I figured I would watch a little of the electoral college count, which would probably be pretty boring. Big surprise! History in the making! And very sad history, to be sure. I felt so sorry for the cops, totally overwhelmed. I think they showed great restraint, some say too much restraint, for not shooting, even though they had the right to do so. More than 50 of them were injured. Everyone of us has his or her own opinion of this tragic historical event. So, I won’t write any more. Yes, it‘s time to pray for unity and tolerance in our country.
The C 19 virus is killing more and more people every day and shows no sign of slowing down. California is really being hit very hard. More prayers.
Thank you again for your weekly / monthly donations to keep our parish going. Also thank you for money you give to me for the local poor. It doesn’t take long to help them. The need is growing and I hope people are getting their stimulus checks. They certainly need them ASAP.
Let’s end on a more positive note with some upbeat pictures.
