MISSION STATEMENT | ITEMS NEEDED | DROP-OFF LOCATIONS |
Our mission is simple. Feed the hungry. You cannot begin any other growth without simple needs being met. We hope to offer extra support to meet these needs. We will give what we have. No one will ever be turned away. We want everyone to be treated with the same dignity and respect that we would ask for ourselves. | Pasta, Can goods, vegetables, cereal, paper goods, sauce, rice, tuna fish. Please check our weekly bulletin for updates and visit us at our Amazon wishlist Thank you! 🙂 | There are green tubs for dropping off food items outside the Fox Parish Center and in the church foyers (both). If anyone knows where we can put additional tubs, we will be happy to provide them. We are thinking of doing a takeout dinner or grinder to go in February. Contributions can be sent to the parish Hall. Checks can be made out to Saint Francis / Hinka’s cupboard. Thank you |

Did You Know?
The name for this satellite pantry is derived from Henrietta (Hinka) Ann Dascanio. She was a long-standing member of St. Francis Church. She was married there and was an active member of the Ladies’ Guild.
Hinka was an accomplished cook and baker. She worked in the Head Start programs, school cafeterias, and private restaurants. One thing we will always remember about her is that she always offered food to guests and would always help people however she could. It is for that reason her name was chosen for this food pantry.
